SCDOT Seeks Public Input on a Proposed Project in Spartanburg County

The South Carolina Department of Transportation requests public comments on a proposed intersection improvement project at SC 49 (Union Highway) and SC 56 (Highway 56) in Spartanburg County.

The proposed improvements include converting the existing intersection into a single-lane roundabout. The purpose of the project is to improve the operational efficiency at the intersection while also improving the safety of the intersection. Visit the project website, projectportal.scdot.gov/sc-49-sc-56-intersection, to see project plans and provide input.

SCDOT encourages members of the public to review the project website and provide questions or comments about potential impacts of the project.
