Flock and Rally, an award-winning integrated communications and marketing agency headquartered in Columbia, South Carolina, was honored with three awards from the 2025 International Association of Business Communicators awards for the South Carolina chapter (IABC/SC)’s Palmetto Awards. The awards highlight Flock and Rally’s exceptional work for both internal and client-facing campaigns, reflecting their commitment to strategic storytelling, creative innovation and measurable impact.

“This year has been extraordinary for our team,” says Merritt McNeely, CEO of Flock and Rally. “As we celebrate our 15th anniversary, earning top honors in our industry is a powerful reflection of the creativity, strategy and heart that define Flock and Rally. Every project we take on is rooted in collaboration and excellence, and it’s deeply rewarding to see that dedication recognized by our peers in the communications, marketing and public relations community.”

Developed by Flock and Rally’s CEO, Merritt McNeely, and creative director, Cait Maloney, the Core Values Plan was created to preserve and strengthen Flock and Rally’s dynamic culture amid a period of rapid growth. Centered around six guiding principles: Team Up, Create Excellence, Arrive Authentically, Innovate Daily, Make Connections and Stay Curious, the plan has been fully integrated into hiring, performance reviews and employee recognition. This initiative has helped unify the team, deepened accountability and sparked renewed enthusiasm.

PalmettoPride: SC Sweep CampaignAward of Merit for Climate Change and Sustainability

In partnership with PalmettoPride, South Carolina’s anti-litter organization, Flock and Rally developed “SC Sweep,” a reimagined statewide litter cleanup initiative designed to inspire volunteerism and civic pride across a 10-day period. With a new name, brand identity and creative concept, the successful campaign aimed to inspire action from residents, community partners and young people through engaging messaging, digital outreach and a toolkit of promotional assets for affiliate organizations, all anchored around one unified week of cleanup efforts across South Carolina. This campaign resulted in 163,415 pounds of trash removed by 1,948 volunteers across all 46 counties in South Carolina.

Flock and Rally’s success at the 2025 IABC Palmetto Awards marks another milestone in what has been an exceptional year of recognition for the agency. In addition to earning three honors from IABC this year, the agency also took home two Gold ADDYs from the American Advertising Federation (AAF Midlands) and six industry awards at the S.C. Public Relations Society of America (SCPRSA) Mercury Awards.
