Anchor Heating & Air has been named No. 851 on the 2026 Inc. 5000, Inc. magazine's ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America — marking the Lowcountry HVAC company's first year of eligibility for the list, which ranks companies by revenue growth from 2022–2025.
Anchor's momentum was also recognized industry-wide: The ACHR News named Anchor the top-ranked HVAC contractor on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list, citing its 407 percent year-over-year growth.
"We're so honored and excited to be included in this year's Inc. 5000, and we're even more thrilled about our rank at No. 851," said Stephanie Postell, co-owner of Anchor Heating & Air. "This was our first year eligible for Inc. 5000, and we not only made the list but landed at an impressive spot. We couldn't have done this without our amazing team and the customers who continue to choose and trust Anchor."
Founded in Charleston, South Carolina, Anchor Heating & Air provides residential heating and air conditioning services throughout the Lowcountry, including repair, replacement, maintenance, and indoor air quality solutions. The company has grown by pairing technical expertise with a people-first approach, a foundation that has also earned it recognition for its workplace culture.
The recognition adds to a growing list of achievements for Anchor and its leadership: a SCBIZ 2026 Best Place to Work in South Carolina honor and the Post and Courier's 2025 Charleston's Choice Award for Heating & Air Conditioning Company. Postell has also earned the 2026 Women in Business Award from Charleston Business Magazine, a 2025 Women of Influence honor from SCBIZ, and the Make-A-Wish Lowcountry "Woman of the Year" title after raising nearly $34,000 for the organization. She is also a W.I.S.H. Society honoree and two-time She Shines Award winner.
"This recognition is a reflection of the incredible team we've built and the trust our customers place in us," said Postell. "I couldn't be more proud of what we've built, and I couldn't be more grateful for the community that continues to support us." As Anchor continues to grow, it remains focused on its core mission: serving God, its employees, and its community with the highest level of quality, integrity, and innovation.
