Rich Heimann

Rich Heimann is the inaugural director of artificial intelligence for the State of South Carolina and the author of several books, including “AI Revealed,” “Doing AI,” and the forthcoming “Sutskever’s List” (Manning Publications). He previously served as chief AI officer at SilverSky and Cybraics, and as a Technical Fellow and Chief Data Scientist at L-3 National Security Solutions. A member of George Mason University’s AI in Government Council, he holds patents in cybersecurity threat analysis and has been an adjunct faculty member at George Mason University and the University of Maryland.
