Lily Pad: A Soft Place to Land will host its inaugural annual gala on Thursday, Oct. 1, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the City Club of Greenville, 55 Beattie Place, 17th Floor.
The special evening will celebrate the partnerships, generosity and community support that have helped Lily Pad expand its mission across South Carolina and beyond, creating safe, welcoming, trauma-informed spaces for children and adults experiencing crisis.
Guests will enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres, one complimentary drink, inspiring stories of hope and transformed lives, and the immersive Traveling Lily Pad Experience. The evening will also highlight Lily Pad’s impact and continued growth and offer opportunities for guests to help create more trauma-informed spaces in communities where they are needed.

Founded in 2022, Lily Pad: A Soft Place to Land is a South Carolina-based nonprofit that transforms institutional spaces, including child welfare and law enforcement offices, into safe, welcoming and trauma-informed environments for children and other vulnerable individuals experiencing crisis. Through partnerships with agencies and communities, Lily Pad works to provide dignity, comfort and a soft place to land during some of life’s most difficult moments.
