Hotel Hartness Appoints Glen Williams as General Manager

Williams joins Hotel Hartness with 33 years of experience in hospitality operations, openings, sales, revenue management, and team leadership across major national brands including Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, and Embassy Suites. Throughout his career, he has opened and operated high performing properties across the Southeast, earning multiple industry accolades, and leading several hotels to rank in the top 10 percent nationally for guest service. Known for his ability to execute operational excellence, Williams most recently served as director of Hotel Operations for Quality Oil Company, overseeing eight Hilton- anded hotels. Prior roles include serving as the opening general manager for both the Embassy Suites Greenville Downtown and the Courtyard by Marriott Greenville Downtown, where he led pre-opening strategy, staffing, sales efforts, and day-to-day operations. “We are thrilled to welcome Glen to Hotel Hartness,” said Sean Hartness, CEO of Hotel Hartness. “His track record of opening and leading top-performing hotels, combined with his deep commitment to service and community, makes him an exceptional fit for our property.
