Ethel Bunch

Ethel Bunch is founder and CEO of Global to Local, LLC, a strategic advisory firm working with private-sector, utility, state, and federal leaders to position South Carolina as the national proving ground for energy dominance, national security, and global competitiveness. Through Global to Local Bunch launched the Palmetto Nuclear Coalition — formed in 2025 with founding partners Google, Nucor, Milliken & Company, and DC BLOX. PNC unites major energy users, manufacturers, and technology leaders behind the expansion of nuclear power as the most affordable and secure foundation for South Carolina’s long-term economic competitiveness. Bunch also founded Sustain South Carolina, an economic development organization focused on strengthening the state’s business environment. Her leadership produced the Roadmap to Sustain South Carolina with Ernst & Young. Growing demand from industry leaders for clear, actionable energy strategy led to the creation of Global to Local.
