Dolly Garfield

Dolly Garfield has been with the South Carolina Education Lottery for nine years and serves as the chief executive officer. Previously, Garfield was the agency’s general counsel. Prior to entering the lottery industry, she was a career prosecutor for the Fifth Judicial Circuit in Columbia for nearly 20 years, prosecuting mostly violent crimes, including several high-profile murders. She was awarded the John R. Justice Community Leadership Award by the South Carolina Commission on Prosecution Coordination. She is a 2024 recipient of the University of South Carolina School of Law Gold Compleat Lawyer Award. She serves as a board member of South Carolina’s Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel, her local neighborhood council, and formerly on various committees with the Junior League of Columbia.
