David Tigges

David Tigges is Burr Forman’s partner in charge of strategic growth and sits in the firm's Administrative, Government, and Regulatory practice group. Tigges previously was the CEO of McNair Law Firm for approximately 10 years. McNair eliminated debt and significantly increased profits during that decade. The firm combined with Burr Forman in 2019. After the firms combined, Tigges was in charge of the integration process and cost reduction efforts. He also served on the executive committee for five years, and he leads the governmental relations practice group. During this time period, he successfully recruited 25 partners and opened offices in Washington, D.C., and Chicago. Tigges said the combination has exceeded expectations.
