Crawford has appointed Emily Arbour as director of client strategy, a newly created role that reflects Crawford’s commitment to aligning strategic thinking with client partnerships. Arbour will lead both the strategy and client relations departments, strengthening collaboration between the two functions to create a more seamless, effective client experience by further aligning business objectives, strategic thinking and execution.

Arbour most recently served as research director at Smarty Pants, a custom market research and strategic consulting firm, where she led consumer insights engagements for global brands, translating qualitative and quantitative research into brand strategy. Prior to that, she spent nearly a decade at Community Coffee Company in progressively senior roles spanning brand strategy, consumer insights and innovation, including managing the agency of record and guiding integrated campaigns across B2C and B2B channels

“Emily’s commitment to collaboration, strategic thinking and meaningful relationship-building will help us continue delivering outcome-driven results for our clients and our agency,” said Bryant Lambert, president of Crawford. “She’s a natural fit for this role and for Crawford, and we look forward to seeing her build on the strong foundation we have today.”

Within the last year, the agency welcomed Kim Banks as director of communications, Nate Osbourne as creative director and Brawley Crawford as director of strategic growth. Arbour’s appointment strengthens Crawford’s senior leadership across strategy, creative, media, communications and client service as the agency continues to grow.

“I’m excited to join Crawford, particularly because of our focus on excellence and results,” said Arbour. “By integrating strategy into client relationships, we’re positioned to create more meaningful impact and elevate the value we deliver, ultimately delivering stronger results for our client partners.”

Arbour holds a Bachelor of Business in Marketing and a Master of Mass Communication in Advertising Research from Louisiana State University.
