Breeze Airways announced a new nonstop route from Greenville-Spartanburg to Columbus, Ohio, with service on Mondays and Fridays starting May 8.
Fares on the new route will start from $49.
“This new route to Columbus is a great example of an underserved route that we’re confident our Guests in the community will love, and that will allow more visitors to conveniently visit Greenville-Spartanburg this summer,” David Neeleman, founder and CEO of Breeze Airways, said in a statement.
Breeze has a new fleet of Airbus A220-300 aircraft and products like free family seating, fast onboard Wi-Fi, preferred seat options, and no change or cancel fees.
“In just two years, Breeze has made a meaningful impact at GSP International Airport,” said Greenville-Spartanburg Airport District President and CEO Kevin Howell. “With convenient nonstop flights to eight destinations, including Los Angeles, Providence, Pittsburgh, Hartford, three destinations in Florida, and now Columbus, Ohio, Breeze has been warmly received by Upstate South Carolina travelers. We welcome Breeze’s continued investment in GSP and the Upstate.”
Breeze serves GSP with nonstop flights to Orlando, Tampa, Fort Myers, Hartford, and Providence.
The addition of Columbus builds on that network, with seasonal service to Los Angeles and Pittsburgh also returning in May.
Travelers can book flights on Breeze from Charleston, S.C., to Atlantic City, N.J. (nonstop on Wednesdays and Saturdays starting May 6, from $49 one way).
Breeze was named one of Fast Company’s World’s Most Innovative Companies of 2025.
It was also named the Best Major Airline in North America by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX), as well as the No. 3 Best Domestic Airline by Travel + Leisure in 2025, placing Breeze in the list’s top four every year since it began flying.
