Director of Development

The Warehouse Theatre

Greenville

Age 28

As director of development at The Warehouse Theatre, I proudly lead fundraising efforts for Greenville’s only fully professional producing theatre, aligning donor passions with the work we do on- and offstage. My philanthropic journey began in college, setting the stage for roles at Weston Theater Company and the ETV Endowment of South Carolina. At 24, I became the state's youngest Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE). Greenville is home to incredible nonprofits, and my goal is to strengthen our city by supporting their vital work. I’ve been fortunate to learn from extraordinary peers and mentors, and I believe deeply in giving back my time and knowledge to uplift others the way so many have guided me. I am a proud lifelong Clemson Tiger with a B.A. in performing arts-theatre, a loyalty shown by naming my 118-pound lapdog Brooks, after Brooks Center for the Performing Arts. Above all, my favorite role is aunt to three nieces who I cannot wait to see run the world.

Favorite Quote and Why: “Around here, however, we don't look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious ... and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” – Walt Disney. I love this reminder to never get stuck in past mistakes or comfortable routines. Curiosity drives us to keep asking questions, explore fresh ideas, and push boundaries toward exciting new possibilities.

Definition of a Successful Leader: A successful leader combines strong vision with humility. They know when to guide, when to listen, and when to get out of the way, fostering a culture of trust where innovative ideas can flourish and everyone feels invested in the ultimate goal.

Advice to 18-Year-Old Self: You can’t shine if you never try. Never let the fear of failure stop you from exploring new opportunities.
