Director of Creative and Social Media

Hughes Agency

Greenville

Age 27

Originally from Jackson, New Jersey, I made the Upstate home after graduating from Clemson University with a degree in graphic communications and packaging science. I started my career in Greenville as a graphic designer and transitioned into my current role as director of creative and social media at Hughes Agency, overseeing all creative work for our clients, including print, digital, and social media. Working alongside a talented events team, I design signage and collateral that transform an event into an experience. This has become the dream job I never knew existed, and my goal is to keep growing our creative capabilities while mentoring designers. Crafting impactful and engaging experiences through multimedia design is how I give back to the Greenville community. To me, giving back means using my skills to make this city more beautiful and connected. Hughes Agency's work with nonprofits such as TD SYNNEX Share the Magic gives me the opportunity to transform spaces and inspire others, and I'm proud to contribute to the betterment of Greenville, even in a small way.

Favorite Quote and Why: "I began to realize how important it was to be an enthusiast in life. If you are interested in something, no matter what it is, go at it at full speed ahead. Embrace it with both arms, hug it, love it and above all become passionate about it. Lukewarm is no good." – Roald Dahl. This quote is a great reminder that our passions are what make life meaningful. Having something that you're excited about gives you a spark to learn, create, think, or grow and keeps things interesting.

Advice to 18-Year-Old Self: Working hard is a great thing, but you'll never be perfect. It's important to handle obstacles and missteps with grace. Learn from your mistakes and allow yourself to grow from them. It's OK to be proud of what you've accomplished while striving to become better.
