With more than two decades of leadership in public media, fundraising, and statewide communications, Adrienne Fairwell has built a career focused on strengthening institutions and expanding their service to the people they represent. As president and CEO of South Carolina ETV and SC Public Radio, she is driving a forward-looking strategy that expands local news capacity, enhances transparency services for government and public affairs, and modernizes how public media informs and educates our communities. Fairwell serves as chair of the National Educational Telecommunications Association, vice chair of America’s Public Television Stations, and is a member of PBS’s Digital Advisory Committee. Locally, she serves on the University of South Carolina’s College of Information and Communications Dean’s Leadership Council and on the State’s Coordinating Council for Workforce Development.
