Dr. Ashley Baggett is the founder and president of THERx Physical Therapy & Pain Management, an outpatient practice in Irmo, South Carolina. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and has been practicing for 19 years. With a clinical background rooted in orthopedic and sports medicine, Baggett combines hands-on myofascial expertise and functional movement for soft tissue dysfunction. She is a certified Integrative Systemic Dry Needle Practitioner, and specializes in neurologic needling for cranio-cervical pain throughout the Midlands.

What’s the best advice you have received in business that you wish to pass on to our readers?

Don’t put off today what can be done tomorrow. This has helped me establish a strong sense of self discipline and persistence towards accomplishing my goals and taught me the importance of seizing opportunities and overcoming procrastination.

What one thing have you learned that has served you well over the years?

If you don’t make time for your wellness, you will be forced to make time for your illness. Each and everyday, I lead with the philosophy that "movement is medicine," and my mission is to ensure that THERx remains a place where people feel educated, and empowered to move better and live better.
